Bring together island wildlife and a more adventurous ride on Roatán’s trails. After your park visit, meet the ATV team for a briefing and a route suited to the conditions. This is a chance to see a different side of the island, with dirt roads, greenery and photo opportunities along the way.

Combine a wildlife stop with an ATV experience on the island’s approved routes. The animal visit gives you time to observe sloths, monkeys and birds before moving on to the riding portion. At the ATV check-in, review the controls, protective equipment and rules for drivers and passengers. Your island route is agreed according to conditions and operator availability.

What to expect

1. Pickup details

   Cruise guests: send your ship name, arrival port, arrival time and all-aboard deadline. Carlos confirms your meeting point and pickup time before the tour; follow his instructions rather than another company’s port directions.

   Hotel and island guests: send the name and location of your accommodation. Confirm the pickup point, any transfer cost and your return arrangements directly with Carlos.

   Observe sloths, monkeys and birds with the park team.

   ATV briefing

   Review vehicle controls, protective equipment and the operator’s requirements.

   Island trails

   Follow the guide along the approved route; terrain varies with the weather.

5. Return & drop-off

   Agree the return location and time before setting off. Cruise guests should keep to the ship’s time and allow for the all-aboard deadline; the day’s route is planned around the schedule you provide.

Before you go

Confirm driving-license, age and passenger restrictions with the operator. ATV rental, park fees and protective equipment must be specified in your quote. Children aged 4 and under receive free transportation on all tours. Admission and activity fees are separate.

What to bring

Closed-toe shoes, clothes that can get dusty, water and a change of clothes.
