Deep Sea Fishing

About this adventure

Head onto the Caribbean for a private deep-sea fishing outing with your group. Enjoy approximately four or more hours overall, including three hours of fishing, enjoy the open-sea scenery and follow the crew’s guidance as you try your luck. Fishing conditions change with the weather and season, so catches cannot be guaranteed.

Unlike the sightseeing tours, this outing centers on your fishing charter and time offshore. Once departure arrangements are agreed, the crew briefs your group and chooses where to fish based on the day’s sea and weather conditions. There is time to enjoy the Caribbean scenery between fishing opportunities. Ask in advance which tackle and bait are provided and how any catch is handled. This is a private charter for a group of one to four, not a $620 ticket for each guest.

What to expect

  1. Pickup details

Cruise guests: send your ship name, arrival port, arrival time and all-aboard deadline. Carlos confirms your meeting point and pickup time before the tour; follow his instructions rather than another company’s port directions.

Hotel and island guests: send the name and location of your accommodation. Confirm the pickup point, any transfer cost and your return arrangements directly with Carlos.

  2. 1

    Meet your crew

Confirm your departure point, equipment and safety briefing before boarding.

  3. 2

    Offshore fishing

The crew selects the day’s fishing areas according to sea conditions.

  4. 3

    Return to Roatán

Enjoy the ride back and agree catch-handling arrangements directly with the crew.

  5. Return & drop-off

Agree the return location and time before setting off. Cruise guests should keep to the ship’s time and allow for the all-aboard deadline; the day’s route is planned around the schedule you provide.
